The entire production has these 4 core stages:
Step 1: Strain Activation and Culture Prep: The selected production strains are activated and cultivated in sterile shaker flasks. Then they are transferred to the seed pots with specific nutrition formulations for scaling up.
Step 2: Sterile Aerobic Fermentation: The active seed culture is transferred into the large-scale fermenters. We purify the compressed air to sterile air before it enters the fermenters. In this way, we ensure a strictly sterile, oxygen-rich environment for optimal microbial production.
Step 3: Filtration and Multi-Stage Crystallization: The fermented broth produced in the last stage is effectively filtered to separate the biomass and clear solution. It goes through a re-crystallization to reach the high molecular purity of Assay 98.0%–102.0%.
Step 4: Centrifugation, Drying and Packaging: We use high-speed centrifuges to separate the crystals and the mother liquor efficiently. Then the crystals are dried in a double-cone rotary vacuum dryer for a low moisture content of ≤1.5%. This ensures a uniform heat distribution without light-induced degradation.
